Holy Friday Procession

The procession, preceded by the sound of "battistrangola", an ancient percussion instrument, winds through the city streets, and recalls the fourteen paintings of the Passion of Christ, according to the tradition passed down by the Confraternity of St. Mary of the Recommended. Originally, the procession was composed of representatives of various confraternities and accompanied by the ancient lauds of which is preserved, even today, a valuable collection.
