Festival of May (loc. San Pellegrino)

Ancient ritual that is celebrated in the village of San Pellegrino. The local people, in the days before the event, choose the highest and most beautiful poplar wood of the valley, and in the night, it breaks down and trasponting in the country. In the square the popla wood is barks and adds a little more, to be raised and then left there for the entire month of May. The plant is then returned to the owner, who has been wronged and the honor of the subtraction. The festival dates back to 1004 and is cited by experts as one of the oldest international events in Europe.
