Valsorda

Crossing the "Path Italy" and dominated by Mount Serrasanta, from the point of view of nature and landscape offers hikers a unique spectacle of the Apennines. On top of the Mountain at 1348 meters, lies the Sanctuary of the SS. Trinity on the ruins of an ancient Benedictine hermitage. Contains a valuable copy of the altarpiece of ceramics of Luca della Robbia, the original of which is currently placed in the altar of the Church of San Francesco. The visit to the Shrine offers the tourist gaze, a magnificent panorama of the Apennines and the surrounding area. On a clear day you can see Gubbio, Perugia and even the distant Spoleto.
The Valsorda is famous for its flowering and for two carsic lakes in whose waters he still lives the spotted salamander and crested newt. The ancient paths retrieved allow you to make long walks, mountain biking and horseback, in a pristine environment and rare beauty. The tours depart from the Rocca Flea and several picnic areas along the routes, allowing an interesting and pleasant tour of historic and artistic heritage of the city and the surrounding nature.
